"Would you rather be interrogated by Deal Crucible… or your boss?"

Stop forecasting hope. Know what's actually real in your pipeline.

An AI interrogation that pressure-tests every deal against The Precision Revenue Framework — grading your evidence, scoring your risk, and showing exactly what your forecast is hiding. The brutal questions your boss, the QBR, and the board will ask — first, in private, so you're never caught flat-footed.

How it works

Three steps from deal entry to actionable truth.

01

AI interrogation, category by category

Deal Crucible interrogates your deal across all eight elements of The Precision Revenue Framework — Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Paper Process, Identified Pain, Champion, Competition — one focused question at a time. It knows when you're guessing.

02

Every claim gets an evidence grade and a Truth Score

E0 (unknown) → E4 (buyer acted). Not what you think — what you can prove. The Truth Score is a weighted, evidence-adjusted number that cuts through optimism. Tells like "coach not champion" or "floating close date" cap elements automatically.

03

Gaps & Plays tells you exactly what to fix and how

AI-generated tactical plays — a real email draft, specific call questions, a champion test — tied to each gap. Not generic coaching. Specific, actionable, ready to copy-paste.

How Deal Crucible protects your number

Sales teams that adopt disciplined deal-qualification frameworks consistently report higher win rates and shorter sales cycles. Here's the mechanism.

Evidence over optimism

Every claim is graded E0–E4, so you commit deals you can prove, not deals you hope for. Fewer surprise slips, a tighter forecast you can actually trust.

Gaps found early

The Precision Revenue Framework exposes weak elements — no economic buyer, soft paper process, a coach mistaken for champion — while there's still time to fix them. Higher win rate, less scrambling.

Plays, not platitudes

Each gap comes with a specific action: a drafted email, the exact call questions, a champion test. Not abstract advice — concrete next moves that move the deal forward.

Rehearse the interrogation

Face the hard questions in private so you walk into the QBR, board review, or deal desk with answers — not excuses.

Who it's for

Account Executives

Walk into every deal review ready. Know your gaps before they're weaponized against you. Close more by knowing what's actually real.

Sales Managers

Trust the forecast. Coach with evidence instead of opinion. Spot at-risk deals early and coach to the right gap — not your gut.

VP Sales / RevOps / CRO

A number you can actually commit to the board. Pipeline visibility that's evidence-backed, not wishful thinking.

Top Flags

No confirmed economic buyer

Biggest risk to the close. Every deal without a verified EB becomes the quarter that got pushed — again.

Paper process completely unmapped

The silent deal-killer. If you don't know the approval flow, you don't actually have a close date.

Champion unverified

You may be coached, not championed. A warm contact who takes no internal action is a coach — not a champion.

The Truth

Northwind looks like a Best Case on the board, but the evidence says otherwise. You have real pain and a metric, but no proven economic buyer and a blank paper process — the two things that most reliably push deals into the next quarter.

The Metric is solid — the VP of Operations has confirmed a savings target and is actively driving the evaluation (E3 buyer-stated). But the Economic Buyer remains a name the rep believes is the right person, never met, never confirmed — that's E1 assertion, and it's the #1 reason B2B deals slip.

The Paper Process gap is equally dangerous: no one has mapped procurement review, legal approvals, or the security questionnaire timeline. Without that map, a "close date" is a placeholder, not a plan. The Competition element is flagged at E2 secondhand — the incumbent ██████ is well-entrenched, and the switching cost argument has never been raised with the buyer.

Recommendation: do not commit Northwind to this quarter's forecast. It belongs in Best Case with a hard trigger — a confirmed EB meeting on the calendar and a documented paper process timeline — before it graduates to Commit. The Champion needs to be tested with a concrete internal ask before you rely on that relationship for influence.
